Apollo, SIMTICS Join Forces to Train Medical Personnel
Medvarsity, a medical e-learning initiative by Apollo Hospital Group, and a software company from New Zealand, SIMTICS have joined hands to offer an online method for medical and allied health students in India to learn complex medical procedures.

A global company's e-learning technology will help Indian health students learn a wide range of complex medical procedures without touching a patient. The need for healthcare professionals in India is substantial with the workforce required to quadruple by 2022 to keep up with demand.

Company SIMTICS has created the system, which enables students to learn what instruments to use in various procedures, how to apply them and the relevant anatomy.

The online learning courses, which can be completed at each student's own pace, are delivered through Medvarsity, India's first virtual medical university, which has about 5000 students at any one time.

The various programs of study include Medical Assistant, Medicine, Nursing and Sonography procedures have been developed to help you learn valuable procedure-focused skills with our interactive 3-D anatomy, realistic cognitive simulator, step-by-step text with images and reference links, and video with expert commentary.
